DJ Joey G returns to Atlanta for the grand opening of a new monthly social event.

You may have been hearing a lot about the RELAUNCH of the New J's Salsa Social (jssalsasocial.com) and not sure what exactly the deal is. Well for starters it's at a new LOCATION with new MEMBERS and a new FORMAT. Our goal as dancers is to bring something NEW & FRESH to Atlanta salsa dancers and enthusiasts EVERY TIME. You'll be dancing in a relaxed environment with friendly dancers of all levels on over 3,000 sq feet of amazing floating floor, staying cool by a great ventilation system, listening to a premier sound system, and grooving till the early hours to the hottest salsa, bachata, cha cha cha and merengue.

Joey is a veteran DJ with extensive experience performing at premier clubs in Washington DC, Connecticut and Florida. He has also been one of the main DJ's for BornToSalsa socials...one of the major salsa communities in South Florida, Orlando Salsa congress (06 & 07), Miami Mambo Projects (05, 06 & 07), the Millennium Salsa Congress and Flava Invasion II.....and that's just to name a few.

For all the ladies out there that want to perfect their spinning technique or add more flavor to their dancing through styling Shanda Connor will be teaching a workshop the afternoon of Sat Oct 6th. Shanda was a principle dancer with Salsa Brava, one of the top dance companies for ladies that "graduated" such amazing follows as Randi Pearson, Stephanie Stevenson and Cindy Stevenson. Shanda has performed live for television and video events, various local and international congresses and exhibits and trained in all types of dance from waltz, swing and foxtrot to samba, cha cha, tango and salsa with some of the world's finest instructors.
